James Warner Whitemyer

James Whitemyer is an experienced trial attorney and civil litigator who brings over 20 years of experience to Klinedinst’s Irvine office.

Prior to joining Klinedinst, Mr. Whitemyer worked as a trial attorney primarily defending civil actions, most recently as Senior Trial Attorney with a national liability insurance carrier. He conducted successful jury trials and obtained dispositive motion victories in a wide variety of civil actions, including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, construction defect, insurer versus insurer contribution, professional liability, product liability, contractual indemnity, business loss, breach of commercial lease, commercial premises liability (including assault), cargo loss, toxic exposure, transportation, and motor vehicle accident cases.

Mr. Whitemyer received his J.D. from the Pepperdine University School of Law in 1996. He received his B.A. in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1991.
