I have unfortunately had to use other lawyers in the past and was very nervous about trying again. Ana from day one was genuine, dedicated, and went above and beyond for my case. I had worked with Cori Ferrentino's office for a first offense DUI charge in 2010 which was reduced to a "wet reckless" and I was very happy with my representation. In 2015 I made another poor decision to get in the car after a night out. I knew that if convicted, a "wet reckless," counted as a prior... and I was now facing a second DUI. I held Cori's office in very high regard and had recommended her extremely reputable law office several times to friends in need of defense. When I sought her help this time, Ana Zykanova had started working with the firm and I worked almost exclusively with Ana this second time. I was extremely impressed with Ana's representation. I knew that this process was going to require a certain amount of "hand-holding" and finesse to navigate the different variables that are involved in DUI cases. Ana was an excellent communicator--- clear, honest, timely, and personable. She was on top of all of my deadlines and sent me consistent reminders when I needed to follow up on anything with the court and was always available to answer the myriad of questions I had throughout the process. She did everything she could within the system and filed a brilliant motion which, upon the judge's whim, we ultimately did not win. My jail time, however, was greatly reduced, she got me home confinement (which was a breeze), and was able to negotiate certain deadlines to fit certain conditions of my life. Most importantly, she made me feel comfortable during a very dehumanizing process and really went the extra mile for my case. Would highly recommend her to anyone needing top-quality legal defense.
