Ms. Galuppo’s experience began during law school when she was an extern with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and spent a summer with one of the most aggressive plaintiffs-sided class action securities litigation law firms in the country. After law school, Ms. Galuppo commenced her practice with Stroock & Stroock & Lavan, a highly rated, New York-based law firm, during which time she was an integral member of the fraud and complex insurance coverage practice group. She specialized in securities and fraud litigation and complex insurance coverage defense and handled class actions, derivative actions, SEC investigations and proceedings, and provided related complex insurance coverage analyses and advice.
After practicing five years with Stroock, Ms. Galuppo joined the law firm of Cox, Castle & Nicholson, during which she handled a diverse array of commercial and real estate-related litigation matters. During that time, Ms. Galuppo gained extensive knowledge about all facets of the real estate business. Uniquely, Ms. Galuppo combined her significant securities and real estate litigation background and successfully defended securities-related real estate matters, including successfully handling nearly a decade of condo-hotel litigation in San Diego state and federal courts and including the appellate courts.

Ms. Galuppo litigates matters in both federal and state courts throughout California and other U.S. jurisdictions. Ms. Galuppo is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, all California State Courts, and the United States District Courts for the Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of California.

Ms. Galuppo was an integral trial team member of multi-million dollar, several multi-week trials in both federal and state courts, including a four-month jury trial in Orange County Superior Court, a three-week federal trial in the Central District of California and has handled many arbitration hearings. Ms. Galuppo has handled international matters as well, which have involved complex insurance coverage representation of foreign-based insureds and insurers, including those in Germany, Australia and England.
Ms. Galuppo’s practice also includes handling numerous appeals and writs before the Ninth Circuit and the California Appellate Courts. She has been responsible for all aspects of the briefing on appeals and has argued before the Ninth Circuit and the California Appellate Court.
Education
Ms. Galuppo received her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude, was the Vice President and Member of the Moot Court Board, Founder of the Entertainment Law Competition, a member of the Appellate Advocacy Team competing in New York, and a Member of Inns of Court. While in law school, Ms. Galuppo was an extern at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. She received her undergraduate degree from Pepperdine University.
