Jeanne Marie Jorgensen

I am an AV-rated business litigation and bankruptcy attorney whose practice focuses on matters involving real estate issues. I primarily represent commercial landlords and property managers, lenders, and construction contractors and subcontractors in state, federal and bankruptcy court litigation, including appeals. My knowledge of real estate and contract law is extensive, and my experience includes assisting clients with a wide variety of commercial real estate disputes, including disputes involving purchase and sale agreements, options to purchase, broker liability, landlord-tenant issues, facility-based claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act, easements, CC&R’s and/or restrictive covenants, and premises liability, among others.

In addition to my litigation practice, I have been a mediator since 2005. I often work with clients, both before and after litigation is commenced, to explore and develop negotiated resolutions of their disputes. I frequently serve as a mandatory settlement conference officer for the Orange County Superior Court and am on the mediation panels for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California and the California Association of Realtors.
