Gary Wayne Patton

I had a check made payable to a corporation which no longer existed. Mr. Patton offered to have the check deposited into his attorney/client trust account as my mother was dying and I needed to travel to her. I deposited $224,000 into his account in late October, 2006, my mother passed Nov. 11, 200...6 and I returned home in December 2006. In January I got a letter from Mr. Patton's attorney telling me there as a short fall in his account. He had spent the money to cover other monies stolen from other clients. He gave me a personal note and a promise to pay $2500 a month plus a life insurance policy and promised to pay $300 a month to keep it in force. He paid two payments only and does not pay the premiums monthly. I earn $600 a month social security only and $300 goes to cover the policy. I am 70 years old and have a high school senior going to college next year. I cannot get any dental work done for either of us nor do I have a house in which to live as I cannot afford rent.
