I help individuals and businesses resolve serious IRS and state tax problems with clarity, strategy, and compassion. Before entering private practice, I served as an attorney with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, giving me valuable insight into how the government evaluates and pursues tax matters.

My work is also deeply personal. After losing my brother, who had struggled under the weight of unresolved tax problems, I became committed to making sure taxpayers feel seen, protected, and supported, not reduced to a balance due or a case file.

I am a California State Bar–Certified Specialist in Taxation Law, one of fewer than 350 attorneys in California with that distinction, and one of fewer than 1,000 Certified Tax Coaches in the United States. With an LL.M. in Taxation and more than 27 years of experience, I represent clients in audits, tax debt matters, tax litigation, payroll tax disputes, Offers in Compromise, penalty abatement, and business tax planning.

I also believe the best tax resolution is prevention. Through proactive business tax planning, I help business owners identify risks, structure decisions wisely, and reduce the chance of costly tax problems before they happen.
