I chose Kathryn Young because of her professionalism and knowledge of the workers comp law. My case was not the typical one injury and one employer. This was a cumulative injury case with three different employers involved. My case dragged on for over three years but she fought hard for me and kne...w how to navigate through the finger pointing, blame game between all three employers and the stunts they would pull. Even after the case was settled, she helped with follow up issues which were difficult to navigate through. Through the entire process I knew she had my best interest at heart and gave me many options letting me decide how best to proceed.

This is the most arrogant, rude attorney including her staff that i've ever had. She ignores your requests for information. And she also refuses to discuss her strategy with you case with you. It is obvious that she handles Workers Comp cases with a cookie cutter approach. Not all cases are the s...ame, but you can't even make suggestions for her to focus on any complexities for you case without her becoming angered. She has screamed at me on several occasions, when I tried to obtain information or make requests or suggestions to have her focus on any area of my claim, that I felt she ignoring. Her office had told me I had a strong case when I first came to her office, she even told me I was a candidate for a Labor Code 132a claim (wrongful termination) yet she hasn't seemed to pursue anything to do with that. She has threatened to drop my case and said she was going to ask the judge to release her from my case. She would always follow up requesting that I sign a release which I refused to do. Do yourself a favor and avoid this law firm...very unprofessional and country.
