Not a conflict of interest. If you are uncomfortable with your attorney, you can fire him and hire a different one.

In California, if you feel that you cannot get a fair hearing from the judge, you can request to be assigned to another courtroom. I don't know...

No, there isn't any catfishing law or cause of action. On the internet, even a mangy old dog can be a pretty girl.
I live in Liberty Township, OH and our HOA does not allow Pit Bulls in the neighborhood or any other dogs classified as vicious.

You could ask the HOA for a temporary waiver.... but don't expect one without a bunch of restrictive conditions. Good luck!
