I came to Mr. Austin after working with a paralegal who took my money but did nothing to help my case. After going back and forth in court for more than two years I didn't understand the process and did not know what to do to correct the situation. I lost faith in the process going it alone. The las...t hearing by myself is where the court wrongly gave sole legal custody to the other parent. My ex took advantage of me but I was unable to get the court to believe me. I was crushed and didn't know what to do but I knew the court's order was wrong. Luckily, I found Mr. Austin and I trusted him. After spending time discussing my case and reviewing documents Mr. Austin found the court's mistake. Next we found the laws showing why the court's last order giving the other parent sole legal custody was wrong. He then worked directly with me to create a clear declaration exposing the error in my case. The only thing he asked was that I be patient. In court the judge complimented our filings for being well written and thorough. Still, the court was slow in making a ruling and Mr. Austin only asked that I be patient with him while he listened to my frustrations with the process. My ex hired a very aggressive attorney to fight and further the "story" that caused me to lose joint custody of my son. At our last court hearing, Mr. Austin clearly showed the court its previous mistake giving my ex sole legal custody. The court vacated the earlier order and granted me joint legal custody of our son. At last, I was relieved to know that I had done nothing wrong and the process was working. Without the right lawyer on my side the error was not going to be corrected. I can only say that Mr. Austin's team always gave me a sense of hope and a clear idea of what we faced each step of the way. As I listened to him I was confident we were doing the right thing. Clearly, the court understood and accepted our side of the case and gave me back my son. If you're choosing an attorney they must be smart, confident and committed to you and your case. ---------- After going through two attorneys who did little for my child custody case I was desperate. With a hearing upcoming I began looking for someone to represent my interest. I came across Mr. Austin and gave him a call. After speaking with him a few minutes I could tell he understood my conce...rns and my need to have someone who was there for me. The other parent was attempting to push me out of my son's life and I really needed help. In court he took the time to make sure my story was told and that the judge listened to my position. After going to a couple of hearings and following Mr. Austin's lead the judge began to see the weakness in the other party's case and their deceptions about my actions as a father. By the end of the case I knew the difference between just having a lawyer and being represented as two bogus restraining orders against me were dismissed.  Outside of court is where I needed the most help. Dealing with police officers and social workers created a lot of stress for me. Mr. Austin made sure I was prepared whenever I had to deal directly with the mother or third parties. He reminded me to keep my court order with me and remain clear and calm when I spoke with police officers or others about my case and custody of my son. After a while the truth of my case became clear and I fear and anxiety dropped.
 In my dealings with Mr. Austin he has been nothing but thoughtful, kind and prepared. His advice was always spot-on - even at times when I didn't agree. Today I spend quality time with my son with little interference from the other parent because of his work for me. I couldn't say this just a year ago!

After having a couple of attorneys, I learned first hand you get what you pay for it but if you're looking for someone who is as interested in helping your family as they are interested in themselves as they are and  I would recommend that you to call Mr. Austin.
