Mario Rivas

I regret ever hiring Mario Rivas. In my experience, he has been one of the worst attorneys I've dealt with. He is all talk and no action. He tells you everything you want to hear before you pay him, but once he gets your money, he disappears like a phantom. Communication is absolutely horrible. You ...can't even get a direct phone number to contact him. Instead, you have to go through Becky, who seems to speak on his behalf. She always makes it sound like everything is being handled, but I found her explanations unhelpful and frustrating. She constantly brings up her own case from back in the 1990s, as if the legal system hasn't changed since then. My biggest complaint is the lack of communication, accountability, and action. When you're paying an attorney to represent you, especially in something as serious as a custody case, you expect someone who will communicate with you, answer your questions, and actually fight for you. I did not feel that I received any of that. I encourage anyone considering this law firm to read the other reviews carefully, especially those involving custody cases. I wish I had done more research before spending my hard-earned money. Save yourself the frustration, stress, and expense. Based on my personal experience, I would never recommend Mario Rivas or this law firm to anyone. I sincerely regret hiring him, and I hope this review helps someone think twice before making the same decision I did.
