Joel C. Renk has been an extremely successful criminal defense attorney for 24 years. As a former Deputy Public Defender for over 20 years and as a private attorney, Joel C. Renk has tried over 100 criminal jury trials. Mr. Renk was a member of the Homicide Unit at the Public Defender Office for 12 years wherein he has tried two death penalty trials and over 20 murder trials. Mr. Renk has also tried over 25 sex offense trials and countless general felony and misdemeanor trials. Mr. Renk's name has been in the press numerous times for his representation on high profile murder cases. Mr. Renk graduated Cum Laude from Western State University, College of Law in Fullerton, California. Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Renk was a financial analyst for a aerospace/defense contractor.
