Being a strong, independent woman and quickly turning into domestic violence victim has been, by far the most destroying and damaging reality. I was wrecked. I was defeated. I was embarrassed. I was lost and I was alone. And then came Erica. The minute she showed up, I felt as ease. I felt lighter an...d safer almost immediately. I endured a lot prior and was getting absolutely no where with my local law enforcement. In one day this woman did more for me than any cry for help I screamed for months. It wasn’t until her that I finally felt safe. She was relentlessly intact in a way I wish I was. She didn’t stop. She didn’t leave my side. My safety was her first and only concern until she ensured I was. I’ve called my local law enforcement numerous times afraid for my life and it took her to finally get them to hear my cries. She stood by my side the entire time, not taking no for an answer until we were heard- my voice was heard. It took her for them to finally hear me and finally do something before it was too late. Prior to Erica, he’s been arrested more than a few and let go faster than I could pack my kids and me an escape bag. I will never forget a phone call she got while she waited for law enforcement with me. She took a call and I overheard another client of hers say she was God sent. He was right- she is. Scary to think where I’d be without her.
