I hired Russ to handle a divorce. After 2 years he fired me!!! here's why: I asked him when he was going to address something, he said I never asked him to do it. When I provided the email that was sent to him 4 months prior I was told I needed a new lawyer. He was right. The new guy got resolution i...n our first appearance. Russ would rather get a continuance than handle the case. Never took the time to prep me prior to a hearing. When were in the halls of the courthouse he spent more time flirting with the clerks and court staff then talking to me. I was extremely disappointed in the representation. The billing was atrocious, always behind. Sometimes 3-4 months. A a side note, his assistant, Julie, very professional. Maybe she should take over the business.

I can’t express my gratitude for the work Mr. Kiner did for my husband and I,. He and his staff took the time and effort to answer all our many questions and guide us through the process involved in our suit against a former business associate. While the process was a lengthy one Mr. Kiner never gav...e up and was an amazing advocate for us. His knowledge of the law and his tenacity prevailed and the outcome was worth the process. I would be happy to recommend this fine attorney to anyone needing a compassionate but fierce attorney.

His team took the time to help us explore every possible option along with potential outcomes so that we could focus on the impact that it would have on the children. Divorce and custody issues are very difficult and unfortunately have a tendency to bring out the worst possible side in people. Russ helped us remain focused and to not get dragged into the hurtful and vengeful behaviors of the opposing party. Truly believe in this legal team because he is straight forward and honest with you on all aspects of the situation. He does not tell you only what you want to hear like others have. Divorce is not a peaceful and pleasant experience, you wont always get what you want but with Russ you WILL get what is best for the innocent CHILDREN who are stuck in this. I appreciate everything he did to prepare us for what all may happen. Always remember, just because you divorce your ex IT DOES NOT MEAN that the CHILDREN divorce them TOO.

Our experience with Kiner Legal group...We have some legal issue that seemed overwhelming. After trying to figure out on our own which direction to take we figured the court system was to much for us to handle and we needed professional advice, at the least. On October 19, 2015 we googled lawyers in ...our area and went to see Mr Russ Kiner for a free consultation. He seemed like a guy that would get things done, after about 15 minutes he looked at me and said "you need me" and I thought yes we do!! Over the next two days I begged and borrowed to come up with the $2500 retainer which I brought to him on October 21, 2015....and then we waited and waited and then we wondered what was going on. We had dropped off additional paperwork from the other lawyers during this time and still nothing. Not a single word! Our court date had come and gone with not a single word from our lawyer so we called the office for information or at least an update on what was going on. We were told over and over that Mr Kiner was busy and would call us back. This went on for over a week when we decided that we no longer needed his services since he didn't appear to be doing anything anyways AND we were being told that he was to busy for us. So after 7 weeks exactly and after having to call and stop by the office multiple times to pick up the retainer check it was only for $1500. So they kept $1000! The office of Kiner Legal group charged us $1000 to do absolutely nothing!!! Mr Kiner couldn't even return our phone call and let us know what was going on, if he was working on our case or anything. This was my first experience with a lawyer and the absolute worst experience ever. I could understand him keeping any of our money for work he had done and yes I understand we signed a contract, we signed the contract after he promised us to work for us and to help us navigate thru the court system but it turned out that after our initial conversation and after we signed the contract and after we brought him a large amount of money we meant nothing to him, we didn't even deserve a return phone call. So very disappointed with our whole experience at Kiner Legal group.
