The only thing that has stopped me from writing this review is the fear that I would not be able to fully express how extraordinary Mrs. Lewis has been, not only as an attorney, but as a person. What impressed me most was how thoroughly she reviewed my situation before I had even retained her. She came prepared as if I had been her client for years. I first hired Heather Lewis in early 2021 for a custody adjustment that I thought would be quick and easy. One of the first things that set her apart from other attorneys was my consultation. She had thoroughly reviewed my divorce papers and brought specific language and verbiage to my attention th...at no one else had even mentioned in other consultations. There wasn't the typical "tell me what I want to hear" that you often get with other attorneys just to get your business; she was honest and pragmatic with me, which I appreciated. She showed right from the outset that she was willing to put in work, even for a 30-minute meeting. After that consultation, I was sold, and placed her on retainer as soon as possible. My case lasted approximately a year and a half, and Heather Lewis was honest, hardworking, and responsive throughout the entire process. Her staff always responded to my calls or emails promptly, and if I asked to speak to Ms. Lewis herself, I was always given a callback and met with professionalism and courteous treatment. Her courtroom etiquette, while I am no expert, was excellent. Sitting through other hearings, while waiting for my own to be presented, allowed me to see many of the other attorneys in the area at work. I was not impressed with their performance; some of them are even more expensive than Ms. Lewis's fees. It was a great reassurance to me that I had gone with the right choice. When the moment came for Ms. Lewis to argue for me in front of the judge, she came prepared, and quite honestly, made the other party look foolish. I received a favorable ruling that was made possible by Ms. Lewis, her team, and their hard work. Their services were worth every penny and if it comes down to court issues again, I will be hiring her again without a second thought.

Heather Lewis is a well educated lawyer with a great amount of experience. She is an easy person to work with and is very determined to get you the outcome you desire. Heather listened to my needs, details of all events and kept me well informed of court dates, correspondence with other party.
