Stephanie Fabiola Dominguez

I have more than ten years of experience handling employment and labor law matters. Prior to opening my law firm, I worked several years at The Castañón Law Group. There, I represented employers and employees in discrimination, including retaliation and harassment, and wrongful termination cases before the Superior Court and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”). My experience representing employers and employees affords me valuable insights into seeking justice for aggrieved employees. I also worked several years at Millard Administrative Representation, where I assisted employees in discrimination, including retaliation and harassment, cases before the EEOC. Furthermore, I worked multiple years at McNicholas & McNicholas LLP on a federal disability discrimination class action against the United States Postal Service, and additional years at the American Postal Workers Union (“APWU”), where I interviewed and counseled employees with workplace complaints and prepared grievances.

I received my Bachelor of Arts with High Honors in Criminal Justice from California State University, San Bernardino, where I graduated in the top 2% of my department. While at Cal State San Bernardino, I was on the Dean’s Honor List every quarter and was the President of the National Criminal Justice Honor Society.

I graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law with Outstanding Achievement for my Pro Bono work. During my time as a student at UC Hastings, I joined the Legal Aid Society – Employment Law Center, where I counseled clients at the Workers’ Rights Clinic. I also served as the student representative and Vice President of the Hastings Public Interest Law Foundation. Moreover, I served as a student volunteer for the Justice & Diversity Center’s Legal Advice and Referral Clinic, the Hastings Homeless Legal Services Clinic, and the General Assistance Advocacy Project.

While at UC Hastings, I also competed in the Roger J. Traynor California Appellate Moot Court Competition. I received the Hastings David E. Snodgrass Competition Award for outstanding oral advocacy.

I am the author of Family Responsibilities Discrimination in the Public Sector: Maximizing the Use of Section 1983 to Enforce Constitutional Rights, 44 Hastings Const. L.Q. 315 (2017). I served as a Senior Supervising Editor of the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly.

I am the proud daughter of Fabiola Dominguez—a National Business Agent (NBA) for the APWU, a former local APWU representative for over twenty-five years, and a former USPS employee for more than thirty-five years. In my spare time, I enjoy walking my dogs, playing Sudoku, and practicing mixed martial arts.
