Biography
I am a trial attorney and partner with Slovak, Baron Empey Murphy & Pinkney LLP. Currently, my practice is primarily complex civil litigation (contract, land use, trade secrets, unfair business practices and intellectual property) and plaintiff's personal injury with an emphasis on the transmission of sexually-transmitted disease claims. Depending on the nature of the case, I handle both hourly-fee cases and contingency fee cases. In every case, I will discuss your matter free of charge to determine if I or my firm can help you and if you wish to retain us.
Over the years, I have represented individuals and companies on a wide range of issues, including banking and financial services, employment claims, unfair competition, multi-jurisdictional product liability/recall actions, public and private construction disputes featuring delay/disruption/acceleration claims, and professional liability claims.
In addition to law, I am avid golfer with a low single digit handicap, and I coach my twin boys' 9 and under baseball team.
