Biography
I am a full time professional mediator with extensive training and experience in the skills of dispute resolution and family dynamics. I have mediated numerous business and family disputes, including marital divorce and disputes involving family owned and small business LLC's amd partnerships. I spend time each month in my offices in Palm Springs and New York City.
My mediation style is essentially facilitative, but is informed by the teachings of Understanding-based and Transformative mediation styles, which, essentially have the parties themselves, with my guidance, actively engage in resolving the dispute on terms that make sense to them. I was quoted extensively in the NY Times in August, 2017 on using the transformative approach to resolve disputes involving family vacation homes.
