Jeffrey M Yoss

For nearly 25 years, Jeff M. Yoss has successfully represented clients in many types of litigation cases throughout Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and Orange counties. He has extensive trial knowledge, and is admitted to the California Bar, Oregon Bar, and the District of Columbia Bar.

Jeff is a life-long learner and has achieved multiple degrees and certifications from all over the world, giving him a unique combination of skills and life experience. Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Jeff earned a number of degrees from the University of Cape Town, including a Graduate degree in Economics, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and Bachelor of Science in Math and Computer Science.

His passion for the law led him to earn his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Additionally, he has achieved an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, United Kingdom, He also holds a California Real Estate Salesperson license. Jeff is certified as an attorney and counselor in the U.S. Court of Appeals 9th Circuit, as well as admitted and qualified as a member of the Bar of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, which is the equivalent of a state supreme court.

He is also certified and recognized by the Consumer Attorneys of California, a professional organization made up of nearly 3,000 attorneys who represent plaintiffs seeking accountability from those who do wrong. This group maintains a vigilant presence in Sacramento with a team of legislative advocates who continually fight to ensure that our courts remain accessible to all and to level the playing field for underdog consumers facing wealthy and powerful foes.

Keeping abreast of legal issues and continuing education are very important to Jeff, and he completed the Trial Advocacy Program from the International Association of Defense Counsel in Boulder, Colorado. He has been a member of the American Inns of Court, a professional group designed to help improve skills, professionalism and ethics of the bench and bar.

Early in his career, Jeff was part of Gelfand & Gelfand in Beverly Hills, California and Middlebrook, Kaiser & Popka, in Palm Springs, California where he was a partner.

His passion for learning includes sharing knowledge and Jeff has been an instructor at Phoenix University, where he taught law for undergraduate and MBA programs.
