OUTCOME: We won. The U.S Court of Appeals affirmed the granting of our motion for summary judgment, holding that our clients did not violate plaintiff's rights.

The plaintiff claimed that he lost his job as a police academy school coordinator because of alleged First Amendment retaliation. The U.S. District Court judge granted our motion for summary judgment, ... holding that our clients did not violate any of the plaintiff's rights. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit affirmed the District Court's decision, agreeing that the plaintiff's rights were not violated.

OUTCOME: We won. The court denied the gun owner's petition and granted our motion to dismiss.

A gun owner claimed that the Rockland County Sheriff's Department improperly seized his guns. After losing at the District Court, Circuit Court and Supreme Court levels of the federal court system, the ... gun owner re-filed the same claims in New York State Supreme Court. We represented the Rockland County Sheriff, who was sued in his official capacity.

OUTCOME: We won. The Second Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the dismissal of the plaintiff's case.

OUTCOME: We succeeded in having this Second Amendment case dismissed on the pleadings.

The plaintiff claimed that his guns were improperly retained by the County Sheriff's Department, allegedly in violation of his Constitutional rights. We won our motion to dismiss plaintiff's case, and ... the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit affirmed our victory. The U.S. Supreme Court denied plaintiff's petition for a writ of certiorari (2021 WL 5284644 (U.S. Nov. 15, 2021).

OUTCOME: We won summary judgment, and the case was dismissed on the basis that the driver's negligence was the sole proximate cause of the accident.

Plaintiff was struck by a car while crossing the street. After settling with the car's insurer, plaintiff sued the County, claiming that the intersection was improperly designed.
