When someone as magnanimous as Victoria tells you when you first meet “ don’t worry until I tell you to worry!” All you can do is see what happens . The beauty of it is in the end I didn’t have to worry at all because she handled a child custody matter for me masterfully . From a man’s perspective i...t’s rare in my opinion to see a guy win custody but we did just that ! I would go to battle with her any time any where. She is the true definition of a warrior !

As a petitioner (and father) Ms. Penley handled my child custody modification case. Ultimately Ms. Penley was successful each and every time we went to court, including a trial. She was well prepared for each hearing, and seemed to be able to anticipate how things would progress very accurately. I... honestly don't think I could have gotten better advice or representation anywhere else. She has little time for nonsense and will straight up tell you when YOU are the one who needs to pause and reflect, as opposed to being a "yes woman". She has a good heart, but has little patience for sob stories about how unfair things are. I found this refreshing and it caused me to focus on issues that absolutely mattered, looking at things from both sides and not dwelling on small issues that could go either way depending on your bias. Sometimes I found her attitude abrasive and offensive but looking back now, her attitude helped prepare me for how an unbiased party (the judge) would see things. If you're not open to criticism then she may not be the attorney for you. I caveat this and say that while she is very knowledgable and straight forward, she is also comparably expensive. She turned out to be worth her weight in gold but that wouldn't have been true if we were not successful. My final bill turned out to be 4-5 times more than what we initially talked about, and that was after multiple meetings and agreements about setting a maximum for expenses which was continually raised and also limiting communication to what was absolutely necessary. She is among the highest quality but also highest cost.
