Douglas Stewart Phillips

I am a partner in the Litigation practice group of Best Best & Krieger LLP's Indian Wells office and have been a resident of the Coachella Valley for more than 30 years.  I have extensive experience in all areas of civil litigation and appellate law and have handled numerous superior court and appellate court matters.  I have also represented public agencies and private parties in all types of municipal litigation.  I am currently deputy city attorney for the City of Palm Desert and represent the City of Indian Wells in litigation matters.  I have provided legal services to the cities of Indio, Rancho Mirage, Desert Hot Springs, Needles, Cathedral City, and Coachella.
