I have 2 mortgages and am in chapter 13 bankruptcy . The 2nd was charged off , without any notice ? ? How can they do this ?

We also need to know whether the house is worth more or less than the 1st ... and who holds the 2nd - it may have been forgiven, not just charged off.

The 2nd lienholder takes title subject to the first lienholder's lien. You still have your lien in first position. The new owner has to keep up...

First - it's common knowledge that debts incurred after filing BK are not discharged (unless a Ch13 was converted to a Ch7 subsequent to incurring...
