I reached out to Dia in 2019, regarding filing for divorce, we agreed for full service half when we submit and half when we get the court processed, Dia went M.I.A from December 2020 until March 2021, when she finally responded back to my emails and phone calls, she assured me that the agreement was ...signed and she submitted all documents to the court for final judgment, and theres no need for me to go down to the court as it was normal delay due to covid . 6 months later Dia was M.I.A again, this time I decided to go to court and inquire about my case status, turns out that the court never received the settlement agreement from my attorney, and been notified 3 different times to appear in front the of the court (notice of hearing) and I was never been alerted or been told that I have a hearing scheduled, until I went down to the court myself and discovered that my attorney did not do her job. attorney received full payment as I was assured that everything was done and nothing else is needed. this has delayed other aspects of my life and delayed my case resolution. I highly DO NOT recommend Dia as she is not a competent attorney.

I’m so glad I met Dia, and I wished I met her earlier in my divorce; like many, I was chained in a retainer contract spending thousand and thousand of dollars per month while in a mist of a long and complicated ugly divorce, but like many in that situation, the emotional level is so high (especially ...with kids involved) that it’s very hard to focus, see the whole picture as you just trying to survive, try to make ends meet and going through the motion, until the point where I couldn’t afford anymore to be on a retainer as the other party was dragging the case for months (Thanks to pro-bono family lawyer!). But at some point as a free-lance worker, I was thinking, well maybe it exists divorce/family lawyers that can work free-lance as well and that you can hire just for a specific work or issue and pay a flat fee for it (A la carte kind of thing), during some research on the web, that’s where I found by chance Dia and the « unbundled lawyers », best thing that ever happened to me, I love the fact to be able to work with Dia, step by step, issue by issue and no retainer, on top of it, Dia is very thorough, very smart, she’s a great professional and she makes herself available when she can and don’t charge you hundred of dollars for a 5 minutes call, like those big lawyer firm where even a short email or scanning a document cost you a lot!!! So yes, Dia has been the perfect answer to my needs, I’ve been able with her help to finally after almost 2 years, finished my divorce and obtain what I was entitled to, which otherwise I would have to let go my case and lost a lot!!! To this day, even after my case being closed, I still, from time to time, work with Dia, when an issue occurs regarding my child custody. Highly Recommended!!!

I hired this lawyer through unbundled. She accepted payment and was not very helpful with much. She purposely would leave out information that she knew and would not bother to explain to me or suggest to me the best courses of action which I later found out were so clear. She did not care to file whe...n filing was necessary unless you bugged her about it. She did not give me proper copies of court documents that I needed. She represents me in court but other than that i did most of the work that she should've. I came to her expecting what she should've given to me which was clear direction and best action but she almost lways left me confused and not confident. It was blatantly clear that she did not care about my case and she was in it for the measly payments I gave her. I knew I would never hire her again and I do not suggest her to anyone. You deserve a lawyer that honestly wants to help you and fight for your cause if it is just!

I would avoid this attorney if you can. In a nutshell, I found her for "Unbundled" legal help. She was very communicative at first before she got money. She charged 500.00 two review paperwork. She called me from a train for the consultation in which the call dropped 3 times, she then said she would ...call me back. I didn't hear back at which time, I had to text her to clarify when she would call me 2 hours later. I paid her 1000.00, once realizing that she was over charging me, I told her within 48 hours I would represent myself due to cost and would like a refund which its clearly states in her contract. Once this happened she turned hostile, rude and very unprofessional in her texts and emails and dragged her feet for almost two weeks giving me the refund. I have never dealt with someone so unprofessional in the way I was handled after wanting a refund.
