I asked her to find out my son’s address because mother did not provide with his whereabouts. I asked to make sure a parenting class was ensiled on her. All I got out of court was the judge siding with mom. The minute order basically said there was dv which there was none of. Manipulation because I c...alled for wellness checks to see where my son was. She did nothing to not make me out as a monster. I come from a broken house and want to ensure my kid doesn’t have same outcome because parents can’t communicate. No dv no child a. But still courts persisted on parallel parenting. I hired Ms. Dia Rodgers as my divorce lawyer. I paid her $3,500 to start the case. She sent me paperwork that I filled out however she never turned it in to the courts. I mean never. I called her she left me a a message saying that she was headed there to file the paperwork. She never did it looked ...like I never sent anything to the courts per my divorce. When I tried to contact her my messages went to voicemail and she never called me back. I never heard from her or got any money back. I highly recommend finding someone else.

I was in such a desperate need of an attorney and I didn't take my time to do my research. I explained to her my issue and I did all the work she should have done and still I paid her on time. My heart broke on the of court that she had never submitted my responsive declaration and never notified the... court that she would be representing me. Since she was unprepared the judge scheduled and evidentuary court day for one year later. I had already given her all my paper proof to defend me. It was the worst day of my life. This was in 2021 and now we are in 2024 and I'm still trying to get at least visiting time. I'm so disappointed even though the court has all my evidence the don't care cause now I have represent myself thanks to her.
