Roger Myers Keithly III

Having interviewed many lawyers both in person and over the phone, none stood out to me as Roger Keithly did. Some of the lawyers that were interviewed were considered among the hardly affordable "San Diego Super Lawyers" and were asking ridiculous retainers that would have me getting a second mortga...ge on my house. All but one, Roger Keithly III, appeared to want to settle through mediation. For me, mediation was not an option. Every lawyer besides Roger seemed to want the case to settle in mediation. I, on the other hand, did not want to settle as it would infringe upon my rights as the parent to be able to decide who my child saw and for how long. Roger stood out within the first five minutes as he demonstrated confidence and poise. He demonstrated that he truly cares about both the client and the child that is regarded in the case. Most importantly, he was willing to to bring such a contest to the opposing party that it would almost appear that weren't on the defensive side at all. As a father with sole legal and physical custody, I found myself on the defensive end of a grandparent who was seeking visitation while her daughter, my ex-wife, is incarcerated. In the short period leading up to the case, He reviewed the laws thoroughly and came prepared and with confidence. He took on my case with short notice, only a week after mediation with Family Court Services and three weeks prior to my hearing in front of the judge . In the courtroom, Roger was a true artsison, capable of defending my case in such a manner that the court would have no other options but to see an outcome in my favor. His courtroom ediquette and mannnerisms are second to none as he demonstrated the highest level of professionalism in the court room. Roger retains my strongest recommendation for anyone with any Family Law matters at hand!
