Michael Alan Reed

Michael is an experienced health care attorney and assists health care providers with a wide range of legal issues, including compliance with Stark, anti-kickback, antitrust, Knox-Keene, insurance and HIPAA regulations. He represents clients in the formation, sale and merger of practices, the establishment of joint ventures, and the preparation and negotiation of a variety of health care contracts.

Michael provides strategic planning and advice to business owners, assisting them with entity selection, formation and ongoing operational and corporate governance issues. Michael also drafts and negotiates commercial and employment agreements, and he provides assistance with federal and state securities regulation compliance and filings.

Michael assists clients with the establishment of intellectual property protection programs, including facilitation of trademark, copyright and patent registrations. He also prepares and negotiates IP development, licensing and assignment agreements.
