Erin Ann Ruttenber

We are incredibly proud to welcome Erin “Annie” Ruttenber to the Garwood Reeves family. Annie’s professional path is defined by a genuine desire to support individuals during life’s most difficult moments. After earning her psychology degree from the University of Northern Colorado, Annie discovered her calling while working within Hawaii’s child welfare system. This experience inspired her to become a trained mediator, a skill that remains a cornerstone of her legal practice today. Annie’s academic excellence at the City University of New York Law School, combined with her time clerking for Family Court Judges and interning for the Legal Aid Society, prepared her for a high-level career in San Diego. Since graduating, she has dedicated herself entirely to family law, handling everything from complex property divisions to sensitive domestic violence restraining orders. Annie believes that family law requires both a sharp legal mind and a big heart. When she isn’t advocating for her clients, Annie enjoys staying active on the tennis court and volunteering her time fostering kittens for the Helen Woodward Animal Center. Her unique blend of mediation experience and legal expertise makes her an exceptional asset to our San Diego legal community.
