I'd never even met her in person – half the time we had her as our lawyer, I was in Bahrain. Communication was always smooth and detailed, be it an email or a virtual meeting. It took well over a year since the petition was filed to get an appointment. Then my case was AP'd for over 2 months. She again contacted the Embassy and sent them a legal brief as to why it should not have been put under administrative processing in the first place. After my IV was approved, she gave me some tips and guidelines for when I first enter the US as a resident, and a few things I should probably take care of ASAP, e.g. REAL ID/driver's license, SSN. To start off, our overall experience with atty. Verzosa was remarkable and superb. I can say the whole journey was not easy as the pandemic really did became a hurdle and lots and lots of problems piled up both minor and major. But Atty. Verzosa was really our hero.
