Elysia L. Lopez

Elysia currently resides in San Diego, California with her fiancé, Kyle, and their pets. Elysia is a Southern California native who loves the beach, good books, sunshine and performance art.

Elysia passed the California bar exam the summer after she graduated law school. She started her own solo practice soon thereafter. She primarily works in small business law, estate planning, contract drafting, negotiation, and general family law. Elysia also volunteers at two different family law clinics, donating her time to those who cannot afford legal representation. She is passionate about helping her community.

Elysia went to Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Virginia. While there, she studied abroad in England for a year - and met her fiancé, Kyle, while on vacation in south Wales. Elysia majored in English Literature and Psychology and continued exploring the performing arts while in college- she loves theater and dance. Elysia played tennis competitively for a total of eight years, four of which were in college. She was the Captain of the Women's Tennis team for several years.

Elysia went to law school in San Diego, California at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. In her second year, she studied abroad in Nice, France. It was decent practice for the years of French she studied in school! Elysia also served on the Family Law Society's board of officers for two years. She held five internships while in law school, all of them either in Family law or Business law. Elysia was published in Lexis Nexis for writing Tax Treaty articles for several different countries. 

Elysia is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the Mexican American Bar Association.
