Brian Witkin is an entertainment attorney who understands the law, the business, and the art of the entertainment industry because he is also a musician and producer.
Brian is the son of Joe Witkin, the original keyboard player of Sha Na Na who performed at the iconic Woodstock Festival of 1969. When Brian found his talent to be on the business side as well as a performer, he oriented to the representation of artists in a business he built, Pacific Records.
Brian quickly found the representation of artists required legal as well as business guidance - and he became a licensed attorney. His clients today range from award winning songwriters and performers to music publishers, record labels, and film companies. Brian is also a GRAMMY® Voting Member of The Recording Academy.
Brian holds a JD degree from San Francisco Law School and is a member of The State Bar of California. He received an MBA and BA in History from National University.
Beyond entertainment, Brian also practices in the areas of Business Organizations, Copyrights, and Real Estate. Outside of his work, Brian enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid surfer and photographer.

He runs a music label, and not that he needed to, but when he wanted to learn more, he went to law school to become an attorney so he could be a more well-rounded businessperson.
