Taylor N. Johnson

Taylor Johnson is a standout addition to the Garwood Reeves family law team, bringing a rare combination of intellectual rigor and heartfelt empathy. Her relationship with the firm started during her final semester at California Western School of Law, where she served on both the Law Review and the Moot Court Honors Board. Even as an extern, Taylor’s sharp legal writing and tireless work ethic made her an obvious future asset to our practice. She earned her Juris Doctor magna cum laude in 2020, and although the pandemic repeatedly stalled the bar exam, she persevered and was admitted to the California Bar in January 2021. Taylor’s prior academic success includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Washington State University, where she graduated cum laude. This foundation in psychology is a cornerstone of her practice, helping her navigate the emotional nuances of custody disputes and property divisions with grace. Since joining us as an associate, she has proven herself to be a dedicated advocate who truly understands the human side of legal struggles.
