You may have the ability to withdraw your plea. This will bring you back to litigate the case. Getting your plea withdrawn will not dismiss it.

There needs to be more information to give context. You may have had a future date (like a jury trial that routinely gets set) that was vacated.

The decision is issue charges is with the DA. They have one year for misdemeanor offenses and three years for 17b misdemeanors and felonies.
