Yes you can do this but be sure to give your current employer proper notice of your intent to terminate.

You can try calling the 800 customer Service Line or make an INFOPASS to go to the local office - no guarantees you will be successful though.
USPS lost my EAD card and now USCIS and USPS are not willing to help!

You will need to re-apply for a replacement card and pay the fee unfortunately. What category is the EAD in? If your current card has not expired...
