Mary Bajo joined Estey & Bomberger, LLP in 2010 during the litigation of a career-ending construction site accident case that eventually settled for nearly 11 million dollars. Bajo was hand-picked for her legal prowess and promising litigation ability.
Her efforts have helped this San Diego-based law firm grow to be one of the most well known personal injury firms in the country. The year following that case, Bajo and the team were responsible for over $100 million in personal injury claims. Bajo has worked with clients injured on construction sites, in auto, motorcycle and bicycle collisions, by dangerous products in mass tort litigation, and from childhood sexual abuse.
Cases, beyond the construction site accident, on which Bajo has been a vital team member:
*Matt Doe v. Los Angeles Unified School District, resulting in a $23 million jury verdict for a child survivor of molestation by his teacher
*Confidential v. Confidential, resulting in a $21 million settlement for consumers injured because of a dangerous product
*John Doe v. Pacific Health Systems, resulting in a $6.5 million jury verdict for two boys, survivors of molestation by a volunteer mentor an a substance abuse outpatient facility
Prior to her work at Estey & Bomberger, Bajo worked at Timothy M. Cary and Associates in the field of public education law, for the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office in the misdemeanor and DUI division, and for the office of former California Assemblyman Anthony Adams.
Bajo's primary focus is on childhood sexual abuse cases at institutions, meaning, the child was under the care of a school, after-school program, church, day care or sports program at the time of the sexual abuse. Her knowledge of, and passion for, the topic caused her to be invited to be a panelist at the 22nd International Summit on Violence, Abuse & Trauma, in a program "Sexual Solicitation, Misconduct & Abuse of Students by School Personnel: Challenges, Resources and Recommendations.
Bajo remains emotionally-invested in her cases; it stems from her knee-deep involvement, noting first-hand how the emotional and physical injuries affect clients and their families. "The most rewarding part of my job is the positive impact I can have on one person's life, and, never more so than in the case of a child," said Bajo.
Bajo and all Estey & Bomberger attorneys offer legal services on a contingency fee basis, meaning we charge nothing unless we win your case. Call our firm today for a free consultation -- at no upfront cost.
