Contact locally experienced appellate counsel. Three of the best I know of in San Diego are Charles Sevilla, Pat Ford, and Al Macina.

Since you are not on probation here, you can certainly leave the US. The issue is whether the country in Asia will take you with your misdemeanor...

Unlikely, unless you intend on arguing (aka perjuring yourself) that the turn was at or after 9am.
