Although only an infraction, this citation is not to be taken lightly given the possible driver's license suspension if convicted due to your age....

A VC14601.5(a) conviction will not result in a mandatory minimum custodial sentence, but jail time is a possible outcome, if not on the new case...

Once you have successfully completed probation you $60 filing fee and the turnaround time is roughly 6-8 weeks. Make sure it's done right though...

Unless and until that federal hold is lifted, plan on him getting moved to federal custody once he is done serving time of the state parole violation.
