Susan Squire Nahama

Susan S. Nahama is the Director of Strategic Operations and Managing Shareholder in the firm’s San Diego office. She has extensive experience in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including professional liability. She is also experienced in representing clients in litigation involving general liability, commercial and residential construction, insurance, business disputes, mold-related claims, product liability, and employment matters. She handles all aspects of litigation, from overall strategic planning and conducting depositions, to arbitrations, mediation and trials.

Ms. Nahama has achieved Martindale’s highest AV®-Preeminent™ rating, and has represented professionals, particularly lawyers and accountants, in pre-litigation and litigation related matters. She takes pride in meeting the needs of each client on a case by case basis. Ms. Nahama has represented general contractors and subcontractors in defending a variety of construction related claims, and also counsels many clients regarding insurance coverage, contractual issues, housing discrimination, product liability, and employment-related issues.

A native San Diegan, Ms. Nahama received her undergraduate degree cum laude from the University of California at San Diego in 1992, and her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1995. She has been with Klinedinst PC since 1997, and was elevated to Shareholder in 2000. She became Managing Shareholder in 2018.
