Excellent and Professional Legal Team

Mr. Vaage and Team were extremely professional and caring while representing me in a medical malpractice case. Elizabeth was my main point of contact at the office through the entire litigation. She took her time with me and explained everything that was going on and what my options were. Mr. Vaag...e and Elizabeth both had the deepest sympathy for what had happened to me and went well beyond expectations to help me with my case. They both knew what was needed and how best to take actions to solve the issues that came up. They took the time to create the best strategy for my case and execute it to a win. At no time did they try to do anything that was questionable or unethical. In fact, they did everything to ensure that we did not jeopardize the case with any falsehoods. Without any question I would recommend Mr. Vaage and Team as your representing attorneys. They will do what is best for you.

Unethical and unacceptable methods of practicing

I had consulted Vaage’s office for legal advice. Upon speaking to his associate Elizabeth, I didn’t understand much of what she was suggesting, however, her suggestions and maneuvering methods where out of question completely unethical. I wanted to sue my employer but I didn’t want to tarnish their ...years of work and character. She was suggesting ideas which would do both. I came to realize after a lengthy conversation with her that this firm and many of their practice techniques involve anonymous calls to federal agencies to report false information, so that the agencies begin an investigation on these corporations. I want a trust worthy attorney and decided that this law firm is not for me. If you would like a law firm that will most likely disbarred in the future go to Vaage’s office. Myself on the other hand have requested information from LRIS for other attorneys. Please do your research before entering into a written contract for legal services with any firm.

Dear Anonymous: I am sorry you were not satisfied with the consultation with our office. You indicated that you didn’t understand much of what my associate was suggesting. I wanted to clarify that whenever you sue your employer for issues associated with discrimination, the law requires that you first file a formal administrative complaint with either the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) or the California DFEH (Department of Fair Employment & Housing). The complaint cannot be made with an anonymous phone call. In order to file a lawsuit, you must first obtain a “Right-to-Sue” notice from one of these entities. During the complaint process, you can either request the “Right-to-Sue” notice right away, or you can allow the governmental entities to investigate your complaint for you.
