Cataudella Law, APC was founded upon civil litigation, and our ability to swiftly address a problem and tactfully attain a positive result. However, we soon realized we were doing our clients a disservice by not reaching out to them before litigation, and taking the opportunity to educate our clients on how to avoid the high costs associated with being a party to a lawsuit. Upon this realization, Cataudella Law, APC expanded its scope of services to include preventative counseling, as well as a number of other disciplines. By doing so, our clients were able to seize the opportunity to implement preventative measures into their respective businesses, thereby minimizing their exposure to liability, and reducing their overall legal expenses.

Paul Cataudella, Principal Attorney of Cataudella Law, APC, earned his Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University. During college, he worked for the Arizona House of Representatives with the Majority Research Staff. Paul earned his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he served as a member of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review and a Fellow of the Thomas Jefferson Intellectual Property Fellowship. During law school, he acquired invaluable trial practice skills working for the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office, as well as the United States Attorney’s Office – Southern District of California.

Following law school, Paul began working for a southern California based law firm with a focus in civil litigation. Upon arrival, he was immediately tasked with managing the civil litigation department, earning him the opportunity to sharpen his skills and work directly with the clients. During this time, Paul managed a variety of matters ranging from complex civil litigation, to routine business transactions. It is here that Paul developed his passion for civil litigation, and assisting clients with achieving their goals in a strategic and intelligent fashion.

Thereafter, Paul founded Cataudella Law, APC upon recognition of a disturbing trend engrained in the majority of todays law firms; clients were not being treated with the personal care and respect that he believes should be expected of the attorney-client relationship. With each person or entity Cataudella Law, APC represents, it can be assured that our clients will be readily equipped with all of the information and tools necessary to make an informed and educated decision every step of the way. Paul’s devotion to such practices stems from his own personal experience as a teenager when he witnessed his own family being taken advantage of by attorneys that perpetuated the aforementioned cycle. A cycle that Cataudella Law, APC continues to break by delivering high quality legal services in conjunction with the care and attention our clients deserve.

Mr. Cataudella is licensed to practice in all courts of California, the Federal District Court – Southern District of California, the Federal District Court – Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals – Ninth Circuit.
