Lucas A. Edwards

Lucas Edwards is an Associate Attorney for the Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates. Lucas was born and raised in Redlands, California. In 2006, he received his undergraduate degree from California State University, Sacramento (“Sacramento State”), majoring in criminal justice with a minor in philosophy. While attending Sacramento State, Lucas served as captain of the Men’s Rugby team from 2004-2006. In 2008, Lucas moved to San Diego to start law school.

While attending law school at the University of San Diego School of Law, Lucas interned at the school’s Legal Clinics program. There he provided pro bono legal services to indigent clients and learned the importance of access to legal resources for members of the community. Through his work at the Clinics, he earned honors as the Education and Disability Clinic’s Outstanding Intern in 2011 and the State Bar’s Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services. Lucas earned his Juris Doctor in 2011 and passed the California State Bar that same year.

Prior to joining the Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates, Lucas was a shareholder at a mid-sized law firm that specialized in representing homeowners and tenants in complex construction defect and habitability claims. During his time at his former law firm, he obtained his law licenses in Arizona (2013) and New Mexico (2019) and gained valuable experience in conducting all aspects of litigation through a multi-district practice.

Lucas has dedicated his career to representing individuals against insurance companies and large corporations. Nowhere is this more important than in the context of personal injury claims.
