I proudly served as a U.S. Navy Jag Officer, defending those charged with violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice for over 24 years. I have successfully defended many members throughout the United States and the world. My practice is divided between military defense, and civilian criminal defense. Although based in San Diego, California I am available to defend a military member anywhere I am needed. In the last few years, I have traveled throughout California, Utah, New Mexico and Alaska in those endeavors. I am a former magistrate at the Miramar Naval Base Brig, and due to my continued practice, I know many of the judges and prosecutors throughout the San DIego area. While negotiating cases is a key part of the practice, I am always ready to go to trial on a case where I am retained. Please call if you would like a free consultation.

Highly Recommended Military Defense Attorney
I really don't know where to start. Being in the military, I was facing and administrative discharge due to an alleged article 112.a. This man and his associate Jerrold Bodow put so much dedication into my case. Eventually there was so much reasonable doubt in regards to the case, my command had no o...

NJP
I hired Mr Carver for a NJP case that was handled as efficiently and professionaly as anyone would expect! He is well informed of military law and procedure and cuts thru the fog to hit the target. He is your man.
"Mr. Carver is an exceptional criminal defense attorney whose reputation speaks for itself. Recommended with complete confidence."
"When I was still on active duty, I worked on a case with Mr. carver that was a very sensitive sentencing hearing. He fought for our client and got a great result!"
"This attorney works very hard for the client and keeps up with the law by attending legal seminars to assist them in this regard. I endorse this attorney."
"Your resume speaks for itself and I consider you a valuable member of the attorney community. I would recommend you to anyone and everyone who needs your services. I whole heartedly endorse this lawyer!"
"I endorse this lawyer. He is top-shelf criminal defense attorney. Not only that but he is the go-to guy for other attorneys in the community who have questions relating to military law."
"I endorse this lawyer. If you want a warrior in your corner, Jeff is the attorney for you. He is well respected by colleagues, prosecutors, and judges, and has no fear in the courtroom. He knows how to negotiate for the deal he wants, and will keep fighting until he gets it."
"Jeff was kind enough to help guide a client of mine through his Naval disciplinary proceedings, the client was blown away with his demeanor and inside knowledge of the process. Jeff is a wealth of information both in civilian criminal defense and military law. If you are facing a legal fight you can't go wrong by giving him a call."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. I have worked with Mr. Carver on a number of courts-martial and administrative discharge cases. His superior knowledge of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, the Evidence Code, and his great ability to strategize have paid off big for our clients, who have been acquitted of offenses ranging from attempted murder of a fellow Marine, to "Popping Positive" for drugs. I recommend him to anyone who has a military legal problem. I team up with him as co-counsel for any military case that I am retained for. His 24 years of JAG Corps experience has really paid off for my clients."
