James John Eischen Jr. has an extensive background in healthcare regulatory transactions, having led a healthcare regulatory transaction group at a national law firm's Irvine office. Prior to this, he was involved in corporate, healthcare, and real estate departments at a prominent San Diego law firm. In 2018, Mr. Eischen contributed to the California Medical Association (CMA) physician legal desk book chapter on private direct medicine compliance and spoke at a CMA conference for general counsel of various US state medical boards/societies on the same topic. Transitioning to self-employment in 2019, he established a boutique business planning law practice in San Diego and launched an online learning platform focusing on creative health and wellness solutions, particularly in the realm of US private direct medicine compliance education. Attorney Eischen is actively engaged in leadership roles at the San Diego County Bar Association (SDCBA), chairing the SDCBA Law & Medicine Section and contributing to educational content for the SDCBA Attorney Wellness Subcommittee. Additionally, he was a founding attorney coach for the Academy of Our Lady of Peace (OLP) high school mock trial team, leading them to two San Diego County Championships.
