Hired this firm for a lemon law case. signed a contingency fee agreement and was told that the fees would be paid by car manufacturer. A settlement offer was made at which point I was informed that the fees and expenses were actually being billed to me and not the car manufacturer. The retainer agree...ment in my opinion is misleading by not clearly informing the client of exactly how much the case could cost and how these fees will be paid. Having a lawsuit where the client only gets 5% of a settlement should be clear from the start.
