Biography
Alex Zyman is a San Diego native. He is bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English) and bicultural. Mr. Zyman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and received his J.D. and LL.M in Taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law.
Alex Zyman is a tax attorney specializing in domestic and international tax planning as well as tax controversy. He advises businesses and individuals on a wide variety of domestic and cross-border transactions and works closely with clients and their foreign advisors to ensure that all matters are handled cohesively.
Mr. Zyman meets with his clients in the United States as well as abroad.
Attorney Zyman's legal experience includes positions with Fortune 500 companies including Qualcomm and SAIC. He has represented clients in matters before the CA Franchise Tax Board, CA Board of Equalization, and the Internal Revenue Service. In doing so, Mr. Zyman has learned to work with those agencies and find ways to work together for the best interest of his clients.
Mr. Zyman is admitted to the State Bar of California, US District Court (Southern District), and the US Tax Court. He is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the SDCBA Mexican Bar Liaison Committee.
