Upon graduation, he was admitted as a member to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1980.
After law school, he served as a member of the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG) for fifteen years. He extensively prosecuted and defended criminal trial matters at Naval Legal Service Offices at Lemoore Naval Air Station, San Diego and Naples, Italy. He served as the attorney for the Naval Submarine Base, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and as the environmental law adviser for the Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Fleet. While in the Navy, he received his Masters of Law degree from Georgetown Law Center, Washington, D.C. Mr. Wolensky was the recipient of the Thomas Chetwood award for attaining the highest grade point average in the graduate programs at Georgetown. He later served as the labor law attorney for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine. He retired from the Navy in 1993 as a Lieutenant Commander, JAGC. He is the recipient of two Navy Commendations and Meritorious Service awards.
Mr. Wolensky was admitted to the California Bar in 1993. He worked for three years at a mid-sized insurance defense firm (Neil Dymott) in San Diego, California where he specialized in construction defect and personal injury matters. He then worked five years for another mid-sized real estate litigation firm in Escondido, California. He specialized in all types of real estate litigation, especially real estate non-disclosure cases, and developed a niche specialization in probate and trust litigation.
In 2003, he started Siegel and Wolensky, LLP with his partner Boris Siegel. The firm has developed a well-earned reputation as one of the best firms for all aspects of probate and trust litigation in San Diego County. Mr. Wolensky is known as an aggressive, ethical, value-oriented litigator who carefully analyzes his cases and obtains the best results possible for his clients. He is appreciated by his clients as an attorney who truly cares for them and who wishes to solve their longstanding, complex problems. He is recognized by both mediators and peers alike as a creative, but tough, negotiator in the alternative dispute resolution sector. He now concentrates his practice in probate and trust litigation cases along with his real estate practice. He also represents individuals, smaller developers and construction companies in construction disputes.
He has been a member of the Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. Chapter of the American Inns of Court as a Barrister for three years. He is currently a member of both the North County and San Diego County Bar Associations.
