I hired him for a family law matter and he did not tell me that he already had another hearing at the same time in a different courthouse. He then tried to request a continuance for my case and put the reason as not having enough time to prepare for the hearing which was not only false but not a legi...timate reason for a continuance to be granted. He knew this, being in law as long as he has. He told me he was going to request a continuance on the basis of us needing to subpoena the FCS counselor. This would have been a legitimate reason for a continuance. He did not do that and the continuance was denied. We went to court and verbally got the continuance. He immediately then tried to bill me another $2,000 on top of the $3,500 I had already paid. For that $3,500 that I wasted all he did was show up to get a continuance. I fired him and got someone and won my case. P.S He tried to B.S me by implying that him being a for military judge would somehow be to my advantage in court. As if the civilian judge cares about that and would side with him because of it. My non jag lawyer that I hired after got everything I wanted done.
