Tom Vance’s practice focuses on civil litigation of nearly every kind. Tom handles cases in the areas of general business, real estate, construction, commercial finance and personal injury. Tom began his legal career in Orange County in 1983 focusing on the representation of banks and other financial affiliate companies.
After litigating cases for 15 years, Tom spent a year in the late 90’s as in-house counsel to a finance company in Newport Beach before returning to private practice and opening an affiliate office in Del Mar which was the predecessor office to the Solana Beach office where he now works full time.
In his 30 plus years of practice, Tom has taken hundreds of cases to trial in both State and Federal Court. Tom also has served as a Judge Pro Tem for the San Diego County Superior Courts.
