Scott A Waage

I was a client of the Waage Law firm from 2002-2004 and I attended one of his seminars on how to thwart the IRS and keep more money for yourself strategy sales pitches. He has a silver tongue and I drank the kool-aid like everyone else in the room. Not long into this business relationship, I received... a visit from the IRS. The IRS informed me that my name was on the top of a list of businesses and individuals that were present or former clients of the Waage Law Firm. After 3.5 years of IRS audit (more years to audit me than my business had even been in existence!!) I got stuck with a huge tax liability that would ruin me for the next 20 years. All of this occurred because I, as a fledgling business owner had the misfortune of walking into one of this mans seminars and naively believing that his tax strategy (scheme) was legal. 4-5 years later, I was unsurprised to learn that Waage was permanently banned from doing business in California.

This attorney grossly overbills and is on the IRS watch list. He provides the services needed, but bills beyond belief and then his staff is extremely rude. My corporation used him for a few years and I recommended several people to his firm. I regret the recommendations as several of them had hu...ge IRS issues due to the wrongful practices. Be smart and stay away.
