William S. Roberts

After serving 20 years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy I attended lawschool and joined the litigation firm of Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman and Dicker, LLC. I remained at that firm for my entire career, spending 13 of those years as the Regional Managing Partner of the San Diego Office.

I handled many more than 1000 cases in my 20 year career with the firm as a litiigator and trial attorney and gained a reputation not only as an excellant litigator but as a superb negotiator, settling hundreds of cases on excellant terms and with a success rate at trial of over 80 percent.

Because of my aggressive yet fair approach to mediation I gained the respect of both plaintiff and defense attorneys, as well as many professional mediators. I specialize in Products Liability, Pharmaceuticals, Personal Liability and Construction Defect Litigation.

I retired from active practice in 2009 and only handle matters pro bono but mediate for fees. I believe my vast experience and in-depth knowledge of the mediation and settlement conference environment would prove of great assistance to any attorney on either side of the litigation in resolving their cases quickly and equitably.
