Mark Thomas Guithues

Mark T. Guithues, Esq. was a portfolio manager for five years managing a dozen residential and commercial owners associations.  Mark has attended hundreds of board and membership meetings and understands the realities and demands of explaining law and collections to inexperienced boards.  Mark obtained his law degree at the University of San Diego, where he was an editor of the prestigious San Diego Law Review.  He is the founding partner of Community Legal Advisors Inc. which serves a portfolio of 300 residential and commercial community associations. Mark is recognized as an industry leader in common interest developments, serving as an Update Author to Chapter 4 (instructing on the creation and operation of residential condominium conversion projects) and Chapter 9 (instructing on the creation and operation of commercial and mixed-use condominium projects) of CEB’s Forming California Common Interest Developments, published by the State Bar of California. Mark is a member of CACM’s faculty, is a licensed California Real Estate Broker, and serves as chief of the local Indian Guides tribe.
